Putin and club "Night Wolves"

Russian President Vladimir Putin started his working visit to Ukraine to visit the camp of the bike club "Night Wolves". On the way from Sevastopol to Yalta, the President made an unscheduled stop to greet the bikers and their leader, surgeon, and then went for talks with Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich.
Putin had previously been based on this "Night Wolves" at Sevastopol, which regularly hosts gatherings of motorcyclists and motorcycle show. He has also attended such events in other areas, particularly in Novorossiysk.

The leader of the bikers told Putin that in 2013 "Night Wolves" are planning to do a show in Volgograd on the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Stalingrad, and in 2014 are going to hold an international gathering in Serbia, with Russian, Ukrainian and Serbian bikers.
Putin asked how many members attend camp near Sevastopol. According to the Surgeon here are up to 80 thousand bikers during the summer. "It's not just razvlekalovka, it turned into a public diplomacy" - he added.

In July 2009, Putin, who then held the post of prime minister, visited the "headquarters" of the Russian motor club "Night Wolves", which spoke to the bikers, told about his "motorcycle" and the experience gave them the Russian flag.
A year later, in July 2010, he again met with the bikers, but in Sevastopol at the international bike show for the 65th anniversary of Victory, on which riders came from a dozen countries, including Serbia. Then Putin, head of the column arrived at the motorcycles, as he put it, "heaped rigs" - three-wheeled motorcycle Harley-Davidson Lehman modified with an automatic transmission, which was decorated with Russian and Ukrainian flags.
In March 2011 Putin met with representatives of the biker movement in the former Yugoslavia in Belgrade, where he was on a working visit. In August 2011 he visited the 16-m-bike festival, organized in Novorossiysk "Night Wolves".
